Schlenker Family: Christmas at the Lake!

We arrived at the lake on December 19th. The boys were so excited to get there. Mom and Dad were there when we arrived and Mickey and Cherish came the next day. We were sad we missed having Derek, Matthew, Crystal and Wyatt this year! But hopefully next year we can all be together. When Mickey and Cherish arrived we went up the mountain and we all picked out the Christmas tree then that night we put all the decorations on. Everyone had a great time on the tobaggon hill. It was perfect for the little kids. Mickey and I stayed at the cabin one day while the rest of them went skiing/snowboarding. We had the snowmobiles for one day. We went into Whitefish on Christmas Eve and went swimming the boys had a blast. Santa came also and he was a huge hit. I am so glad we have Ashtons reaction on video it was priceless. He was so excited Nick was too. He made fake snow for them and gave them each a treat. They were thrilled. Then that day the boys started going downhill and myself included. Cherish and Houston weren't doing well either. So then we all turned into hermits. We didn't go outside much it just made everyone feel worse. Mickey had some fireworks so one night we went out onto the lake and set them off. All the kids had a fun time dancing around with the sparklers. It was a great holiday despite being sick. We had lots of fun together and created memories we will all remember!
